ABOUT
Asian Pacific Islander Economic Equity Advancement Program (APIEEA Program) is initiated by the Asian Business Association of San Diego (ABASD). It aims to provide culturally responsive business development and capacity building services for minority business enterprises (MBE) of Asian and Pacific Islander (API) descent in San Diego and Imperial Counties.
This program is funded in partnership with AT&T, Bank of America, Mastercard, the County of San Diego, and the City of San Diego (American Rescue Plan Act - ARPA).
Founded in 1990, ABASD represents the interests of over 30,000 Asian Pacific Islander owned businesses throughout San Diego County. ABASD believes in building sustainable communities through inclusive economic development and a qualified diverse workforce.
Asian Business Association is part of the San Diego & Imperial Small Business Development Center (SBDC) network which provides no-cost advising and consulting services to entrepreneurs and small businesses. SBDC's top priority is to empower small business creation and growth to achieve job creation and retention, capital investments, and dynamic innovation that improves the quality of life in our community.
